The BETA Swing Multiplex comes with a removeable block underneath the platen which can be removed to increase the pressing gap by an additional 25mm. This allows for the pressing of thicker items such as plaques and acrylic or wooden blocks. 

With the block on the machine, this press performs as a standard flat bed press, with a pressing gap of 15mm.
